Privacy Policy

Overview

JSONLoom is a JSON tool that prioritizes your privacy. All JSON processing happens entirely in your browser. Your data is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers.

Data We Store Locally

• User preferences (theme, indent size, default view mode)
• License/subscription status
• Cookie consent preference

All of this is stored in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

JSON Data Processing

Your JSON data is processed entirely client-side using JavaScript in your browser. It is never transmitted to any server. When you close the tab or clear the editor, the data is gone — we have no copy of it.

Authentication

If you sign in (required for Pro), we use our shared authentication service (auth.cashewcrate.com). This stores your email address and subscription status. Authentication uses secure HTTP-only cookies.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdSense — Displays ads for free users (only with cookie consent). Governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Polar — Processes payments for Pro subscriptions. Governed by Polar's privacy policy.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (session cookies) and advertising (Google AdSense, only with your consent). A cookie consent banner is shown on first visit, compliant with UK/EU regulations (Google Consent Mode v2).

Data Deletion

Clear your browser's localStorage to delete all locally stored data. For account deletion, contact support@cashewcrate.com.
